Our 9th Annual Christmas Silent Auction was held at the Gowan Brae Golf and Country Club on Thursday, November 28th with a full house in attendance. Thanks to the many volunteers and donors, the evening was  a huge success! Over $11 000 was raised! Wow! All proceeds, after expenses for food, printing and supplies, will go to enrich student learning at Terry Fox Elementary. Last year's proceeds were used to purchase new equipment in the gym and music room along with ipads for every classroom. We are excited to imagine the possibilities for this year's proceeds! Stay tuned! A huge thank goes out to our organizing committee: Anne Wilson, Treena Gammon, Cathy Morrison, Diana St. Onge and June Schiavoni along with the many volunteers who made the evening possible. The donations to bid on from community members, families and classrooms were amazing and we thank everyone for their generosity. Thank you, as well, to all who purchased a ticket and came out to enjoy this very festive event!
