Hello,

We have now put in our first week of school and we are becoming more comfortable with all the new routines and precedures in place to keep us all safe.  Grade 1E had a successful week of learning and getting to know each other better.  We are working on letter formation and the sounds the letters make.  This is a refresher from kindergarten due to the amount of time we were away from the school.  It would be helpful to your child if they could practice making thier letters at home as well. This can be done on paper or with playdough or a meduim of your choice.  Just remember letters begin at the top and end on the line.  Many could use practice writing thier name. 

Thank you to all that returned the Data sheets with any necessary changes on them.  If you have not returned yours yet could you please send it in early next weeek so we can have our information up to date.  This is what we use to contact you when needed.
