Home Learning Week 10

Dear Parents,

The last week of school…the closing of one door and the opening of another! We want to thank each child for all the warmth, the memories, and the learning that we have shared this school year.

To our students, we say a big THANK-YOU because when we teach, we also learn from you. This past year we have grown together. A little bit of each of you will always be with us. Always strive to be the BEST that you can be!

To the parents, we say a big THANK-YOU for all your support throughout the year. It has been a wonderful and rewarding year regardless of all the obstacles we have overcome in the last few months.

Week 7 (May19-22)

We hope you all enjoyed the long weekend! Finally, some sunshine. We hope you had some fun outdoors. We are onto week 7 of home learning and chose to continue with the same format we have been doing. We are focusing spring, feeling well and moving our bodies! We hope you are all happy and healthy! Reach out to us anytime with any questions or concerns!

Week 6 of Home Learning

Wishing all our families a happy Mother's Day!

This week we are back at it with some more home learning activities. We also just wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your patience and support as we rolled out at-home learning plans over the past few weeks… can’t believe we are already on week 6! Home Learning Week 1

Daily routine:

Read (lecture) - 10-15 minutes / day
- French books from home or online on this website: https://jelis-free.rkpublishing.com/student
- We have created usernames for each student. Please see "document" tab.
- Password is: tfes
Sight Words (mots fréquents) - 10 minutes / day
- Choose from the list of activities for you word work each week. Please see "document" tab on our teacher page for list of activities and weekly sight words.
Sounds (sons) - 5-10 minutes / day
- Read the story/poem aloud. Choose an activity to practice the sound of the week. You can find the activities under the "document" tab.
Math - 20 minutes / day
- Choose from the list of math activities under "document" tab. You can find a variety of activities (with and without technology)
FLORA - 10 minutes / day
- Choose a module and activity of your choice, If technology is an issue, choose from one of the extra no/low tech activities.
